Salah satu Alumni TF ITB, yakni mas YB Andhi Marjono (TF97), memberikan ceramah singkat dalam acara FTI ITB Motivation Day 2018. Acara FTI ITB Motivation Day ini seperti kuliah umum namun diberikan oleh alumni-alumni dari jurusan di Fakultas Teknologi Industri ITB yakni Teknik Fisika, Teknik Kimia, Teknik Industri dan Manajemen Rekayasa. Setiap alumni memberikan sharing mengenai dunia kerja/industri yang digelutinya dan secara tidak langsung mempromosikan jurusan/program studi asal alumni tersebut.
Sebagai informasi bahwa mahasiswa ITB di era sekarang hanya memilih fakultas ketika masuk ITB dan baru memilih jurusan/program studi ketika tahun kedua. Fakultas Teknologi Industri ITB saat ini terdiri dari empat program studi yakni Teknik Fisika, Teknik Kimia, Teknik Industri dan Manajemen Rekayasa.

On behalf of the Engineering Physics ITB alumni, it’s such a great honor to share my experience in front of, I guess, more than 400 first year students of the Industrial Technology Faculty (FTI), Institut Teknologi Bandung, in November 2018 during the FTI’s Motivation Day 2018. The event was quite important for the students as they will have to choose and enter one of these Undergraduate Programs from the 2nd year: Engineering Physics, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Engineering Management.
I was informed that in November 2018 the Engineering Physics had probably the lowest electability among the rest. Pretty challenging and obviously needed more attractive advertisements. After the event, its electability in December has increased by 67%! It’s still a few months to go to bring it even higher.
